Italcorse Academy
Track activities
To become a racecar driver, it is necessary to attend an introductory course first and then refine your fast driving technique.
Our Academy, in close collaboration with Giokart, organises track driving courses aimed at children and young people who are passionate about racing and engines and wish to approach the world of karting in a serious and safe manner.
The aim of the training is to teach young people how to drive a racing vehicle, through a didactic approach that brings out talent and a healthy spirit of sporting competition, while at the same time conveying the importance of safety in motor sports.
The course generally ends with participation in the first real race, on a multi-titled kart, such as one of those of Italcorse. The driver will thus be introduced to racing, assisted by staff and instructors of great technical value.

The competitive route
The main activities take place at the following tracks:
- International Circuit Il Sagittario – Latina
- Kartodomo di Artena – Artena (RM)
- Aprilia International Circuit – Aprilia (LT)
The competitive track consists of several lessons with a limited number of participants, usually on Saturday and/or Sunday.
The lessons, held by titrated karting and motor racing drivers, are open to all children aged between 6 and 12 years with MINI 60 karts and from 13 years upwards for TAG single-gear karts, where the presence of at least one parent will always be essential in the case of underage drivers.
For track driving sessions, drivers must have their own safety clothing, including rib and neck protectors.

Classroom and track lessons
Each lesson consists of half a day at the circuit, alternating theory in the classroom and practice on the track, carried out in several shifts on karts from the Italcorse racing department.
In over 10 years of close collaboration with the Giokart Academy, we have trained over 120 drivers, many of whom now compete nationally and internationally in both karting and motor racing.

To participate in one of our courses, a double signature of the parents (father and mother) will be required on the registration form. In addition, it will be essential to present a valid medical certificate (12 months), issued only by doctors specialising in sports medicine after a fitness examination that includes a spirometric examination, electrocardiogram at rest and after the 3-minute test (after the age of 6).
